    The Assistant Naloxone Distribution Hub Coordinator is a full-time position supporting the Naloxone Distribution Hub Program by organizing training sessions, managing naloxone distribution, overseeing naloxone vending machine operations, collecting and reporting data, and assisting with community outreach. Key responsibilities include scheduling and organizing training for various groups, including people who use drugs, family members, healthcare providers, community members, business partners, first responders, and laypersons. The assistant will manage naloxone inventory, including restocking and maintaining naloxone vending machines, and track distribution. Additionally, they will gather data on training attendance, vending machine usage, and naloxone distribution, preparing reports and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

    The role involves supporting community outreach efforts through events and building relationships with community organizations and healthcare providers. Administrative tasks include managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and assisting with memorandums of understanding. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with preferred experience in harm reduction, public health, peer recovery support services, or related fields. A Texas Driver's License is required, with additional certifications preferred.

    The assistant must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel regularly within Central Texas. They will work under the supervision of the Naloxone Distribution Hub Coordinator, receiving job-specific training and ongoing professional development support.
