Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager – Operating Room to support daily OR operations, staffing, patient flow, and staff development. This role works closely with the Nurse Manager and surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily OR operations, staffing, and patient flow.

Lead, coach, and develop OR nursing staff.

Support regulatory and survey readiness.

Improve patient satisfaction, workflow, and departmental efficiency.

Assist the Nurse Manager with scheduling, reporting, and administrative duties.

Serve as a clinical and operational resource for the surgical team.

Required Qualifications

BSN required.

Active Maryland RN license.

Current AHA BLS certification.

2+ years of Operating Room nursing experience.

1+ year of leadership experience.

Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
