About the Role:
HUNT Mechanical is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to join our growing team in Huntington Beach, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a HVAC company specializing in Luxury Custom Homes
Responsibilities:
Support the Management Team in coordinating day-to-day operations of management and field staff
Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and workflow management for field technicians and crews
Monitor job progress, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
Assist in managing vendor relationships, procurement, and purchase orders
Help enforce safety protocols, compliance standards, and company policies
Prepare operational reports, track KPIs, and identify areas for process improvement
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or a related trade industry
ServiceTitan experience a huge plus
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Proficiency in scheduling software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, work orders, or service documentation is a plus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Self-motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative, field-service environment
