Salary: $41,000–$45,000/year Schedule: Full-Time | Mon–Fri | Rotating shifts (6:30am–3:00pm or 10:00am–6:30pm)

This is not a typical Assistant Director position.

As the Founding Assistant Director, you’ll partner closely with the Founding Director to launch a brand-new school helping shape the culture, team, family experience, and daily operations from day one. If you’re ready to step into real leadership, be heard, and grow into a future Director role, this is your lane.

What You’ll Do

Support school launch from pre-opening through enrollment growth

Help hire, coach, and retain a strong teaching team

Build trust-filled relationships with families and staff

Support tours, events, and community engagement

Ensure compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing & safety standards

Assist with daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and documentation

Step into leadership when the Director is unavailable

Who We’re Looking For

Associate’s Degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)

Texas Director Certificate preferred

10+ years early childhood experience

7+ years leadership or supervisory experience

Strong understanding of Texas Licensing

Calm, organized, people-centered leader

CPR/First Aid & Food Handler certified (or ability to obtain)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Familiar with the Fulshear–Katy community
