    Job Description

    ** Summary of Position**

    As the Assistant Production Manager, you are responsible for supporting the Production Manager in overseeing the manufacturing process, optimizing efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards. By working closely with production teams, you will ensure that operations run smoothly, and at the highest yield.

    ** Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

    • Collaborate with the Production Manager to oversee the efficient operation of the manufacturing process. Assist in planning, organizing, and executing production schedules to meet company objectives and customer demands.
    • Continuously identify opportunities to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Analyze manufacturing data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and product quality.
    • Ensure adherence to the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Monitor product quality and work closely with the Quality Control team to address any issues and maintain consistent excellence.
    • Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Enforce safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and incidents in the production area.
    • Assist in the training and development of production staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
    • Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials and components for production.
    • Prepare regular production reports, detailing key performance indicators (KPIs), production output, and other relevant metrics. Present these reports to the Production Manager for review.
    • Actively participate in meetings and initiatives focused on continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes.

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
    • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse teams and convey production-related information.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.

    ** Education and/or Experience** ****

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management Finance, or relevant field.
    • 2+ years in a Manufacturing setting
    • 2+ years in a relevant administrative role.
    • Experience in the Solar industry preferred.

    Additional Information

    ** Compensation and Benefits**

    • $90,000 - $95,000/annually
