Hawaii's youths sports leader offering youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for kids ages 3-14 in today's most popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and baseball. With our focus on fun, safety, convenience, and good sportsmanship, i9 Sports Honolulu is reinventing the youth sports experience for families across Hawaii.

    Job Summary The Assistant Program Director works alongside the Program Director to Help Kids Succeed in Life Through Sports! The APD assist with the management of the day-to-day operations of the local sports leagues including marketing, coach recruitment, supervision of game-day operations, and customer service. In their role, APD ensures the highest level of brand standards are executed and core concepts are continuously demonstrated.

    Responsibilities

    Assist in the execution of marketing with periodic road sign drops

    Assist in the support of league operations

    Assist in supervising part-time staff members and volunteer coaches

    Assist with Nike Kids Camp

    Assist in development of rosters, schedules, and programming for various sports

    Assist in overseeing the daily operation of youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics

    Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

    Attend City and County Field Users meetings island wide

    Create and maintain field lining for outdoor programs

    Help manage equipment and inventory, uniforms and program supplies.

    Address on-site issues professionally including parent concerns or game day challenges

    Recruit, train and support coaches referees and site staff

    Qualifications

    Excellent communication & organization skills

    Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems

    Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players

    Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships

    Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends

    Must have reliable transportation

    Comfortable leading groups and making decisions on the field

    Able to lift and carry sports equipment and work outdoors in various work conditions.
