Assistant Project Manager – HVAC & Sheet Metal Construction

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our growing HVAC and sheet metal construction team. This role focuses on coordinating field operations, managing costs, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

Support daily job site operations and field coordination

Assist with estimating (takeoffs, material pricing, labor projections)

Track job costs including labor, materials, and equipment

Monitor labor productivity and assist with cost control

Coordinate manpower, materials, and schedules to meet deadlines

Provide support to field teams, foremen, and subcontractors

Assist with project scheduling and progress tracking

Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

Qualifications

Experience in HVAC, sheet metal, or mechanical construction preferred

Ability to read blueprints and construction documents

Strong organizational and time management skills

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and team leadership skills

Valid driver’s license (not preferred)
