    Founded in 2016, Select Construction is a General Contracting and Construction Management company serving the NYC and New Jersey markets. We specialize in commercial interior construction and work with a strong base of recurring clients, including several Fortune 500 companies. With a growing backlog of work, we are expanding our team and seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Superintendent to join us.

    Position Overview

    Full-time, on-site role supporting the COO, Project Managers, and Superintendents with day-to-day construction operations. The ideal candidate has a construction background, is hands-on, motivated to learn, and ready to take on increasing responsibility while traveling between project sites as needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project team members

    Support field operations, sequencing, and the project schedule

    Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site

    Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP/FP drawings

    Assist with submittals, RFIs, and project documentation

    Prepare look-ahead schedules, daily logs, and photo reports

    Help manage material deliveries, load-ins, and site logistics

    Assist with project closeout and demobilization

    Identify and communicate field issues promptly

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; or 2+ years of relevant construction experience

    Proficiency with Procore (preferred)

    Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

    Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

    Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player

    Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
