    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Property Manager to join the team at our successful property management company. The Property Manager is responsible for assisting property managers in their day to day management of their assigned commercial and/or residential properties. As a successful Assistant Property Manager, your goals are to maintain a high level of satisfaction for both the property owner and tenant, timely response to calls and emails, schedule work with vendors and assist the Property Supervisors with other administrative tasks.     Responsibilities

    Assist with the placement pf advertisements for vacant properties

    Schedule and coordinate showing of properties to prospective tenants and inform them of all available amenities

    Assist in the application process through which prospects qualify for rentals using background checks and references

    Accept rental payments and provide receipts

    Respond to tenant inquiries

    Respond to questions from clients

    Maintain deep knowledge of the local market and housing trends

    schedule and coordinate inspections of the properties on a regular basis and schedule necessary maintenance/repairs

    Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Proven working experience in property management

    High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

    General understanding of real estate law and leasing practices

    Up-to-date on the local real estate market

    Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills

    Experience with property management software preferred
