Assistant Property Manager

This entry-level, full-time position is primarily scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, in a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on delivering excellent service to both tenants and property owners. This role periodically requires availability outside of standard business hours to respond to urgent or emergencies as needed. Responsibilities: Leasing & Application Support • Assist with advertising and marketing vacant units, including photos, online listings, and updates • Prepare lease agreements and move-in documents for Property Manager review • Help track lease renewals and upcoming expirations Move-In & Move-Out Coordination • Schedule and perform move-in, move-out, and annual inspections • Ensure all required documents (lease agreements, renter’s insurance, utilities) are completed prior to move-in • Send move-in and move-out instruction emails to tenants • Coordinate scheduling of inspections and assist with property turnovers Maintenance Coordination • Receive and enter maintenance requests into the system • Assign work orders to vendors following company guidelines • Coordinate vendor scheduling and tenant access • Follow up on open work orders to ensure timely completion • Provide status updates to tenants and Property Managers Administrative & Office Support • Answer phones and respond to tenant and owner inquiries • Monitor and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner • Maintain accurate and organized digital files • Assist with posting notices and documentation • Support Property Managers with day-to-day administrative tasks • Cover the front desk when needed Property Oversight Support • Assist with scheduling annual inspections and quarterly drive-by inspections • Conduct drive-by inspections as needed • Coordinate with vendors and the internal team to ensure properties are rent-ready Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle • Reliable smartphone for use with inspection and communication apps • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Professional demeanor and customer service mindset • Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office • Strong email communication skills and attention to detail • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
