    Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 remote)

    Overview

    We are seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to step into a leadership role as an Assistant Regional Director of Survey. This position will oversee survey staff, manage multiple projects, and play a key role in client relationships and regional operations.

    This is a great opportunity for a senior-level surveyor looking to move into a broader leadership role with direct impact on team performance, quality control, and project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and lead survey staff across assigned projects and offices
    • Oversee project execution, schedules, and quality control
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
    • Review, sign, and seal plats, as-builts, and legal survey documents
    • Prepare and review proposals and scope documentation
    • Support billing oversight and project financial tracking
    • Ensure adherence to survey standards, procedures, and best practices
    • Stay current with evolving surveying technologies and workflows

    Qualifications

    • Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license (Georgia or ability to obtain)
    • 5+ years of licensed surveying experience
    • Strong background in both field and office survey operations
    • Experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)
    • Proven ability to manage teams and client relationships
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
