Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Residential Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role supports our estimating department by preparing takeoffs, reviewing plans, and assisting with bid preparation for residential electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing electrical estimates for residential construction projects
• Perform material takeoffs from plans and specifications
• Support senior estimators with bid preparation and proposal development
• Communicate with suppliers for pricing and materials
• Review drawings and identify project requirements
• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, builders, and internal teams

Qualifications

• Experience in residential electrical work or estimating preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and materials
• Proficiency with computers (Excel, estimating software is a plus)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Licensed Journeyman with a minimum of 4 years' experience
