    Assistant Restaurant Manager

    The Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center, located in downtown Augusta, Georgia is home to Augustino's Italian Eatery & Prime Steaks, an award winning restaurant best recognized for Best Business Lunch and Best Steak in Augusta. Augustino's is also consistently ranked among the top restaurants within the Marriott brand.

    We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are open 24/7/365 so the Assistant Manager must be able to work weekends and holidays. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to grow their career within a respected restaurant concept.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee restaurant, bar, and in-room dining operations during assigned shifts

    Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional guest service

    Ensure adherence to restaurant service standards and brand expectations

    Address and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally

    Assist with staff scheduling, training, and coaching

    Support hiring and team development initiatives

    Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety

    Assist with inventory management, forecasting, and ordering

    Collaborate with kitchen and hotel leadership to ensure smooth operations

    Qualifications

    Restaurant supervisory experience (3 year+, credit for college internships applies)

    High school diploma (college degree a plus)

    Strong understanding of restaurant service standards

    Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, coaching, interviewing, and scheduling

    Ability to learn forecasting, inventory management, and ordering processes

    Proficiency with technology systems (Micros, Outlook, etc)

    Wine and liquor knowledge

    Exceptional guest service and hospitality mindset

    Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

    Salary $50,000
