Responsibilities: • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service. • Manage inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained. • Utilize POS systems for efficient transaction processing. • Handle cash management and ensure accurate financial reporting. • Train, develop, and supervise staff to deliver high-quality customer service. • Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce. • Implement food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. • Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve operational goals. • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. • Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours. • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Qualifications: Experience • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. • Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and culinary practices. • Experience in quick service & fast food restaurants as well as casual dining environments is preferred. • Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus. • Demonstrated ability in staff training & development, leadership, and team management. • Background in hospitality management or kitchen management is highly valued. • Experience with budgeting, inventory control, and cash handling procedures is essential. • Previous roles may include assistant manager experience or supervisory positions within the restaurant sector.
