Location: Kent, Wa (on-site)

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 + future growth opportunities at the company.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts; weekends as needed

About the Role

Closets by Design is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Assistant Sales Manager & Trainer to support our growing sales team. This is a fun and rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about sales leadership, training, and team development. This role offers real potential for advancement within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

In partnership with the Sales Manager, you will:

Help oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department

Support team accountability, drive sales performance, and report concerns to leadership

Assist in follow-up strategy and individual coaching to maximize team results

Lead training sessions and provide supplemental coaching as needed

Deliver exceptional customer service to both prospective and existing clients

Stay current on product knowledge, design tools, and industry trends

Embrace continuous learning and help foster a positive, professional team culture

What We’re Looking For

Experience in sales leadership, team training, or assistant management

Enjoy motivating and coaching others toward their goals

Confident and clear communication skills with both staff and clients

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Strong desire to learn the full sales and design process

Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in follow-through

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Qualifications

3+ years of sales and/or customer service experience (preferred)

Prior training or assistant management experience is a plus

Ability to commute reliably to Kent, WA (or planning to relocate)
