    At Soccer Shots Portland, we are passionate about child development and on a mission to make a massive impact on our community. We are an engaging children’s enrichment program with a focus on character development and take our job seriously. Every year, we serve thousands of children, at hundreds of locations, across Multnomah, Clark, Clackamas and Washington Counties running programs seven days a week. We train our staff in leadership development, communication skills, early childhood education, and time management and are dedicated to providing high-quality, foundational soccer training that prepares children for a lifetime of fun with soccer.

    We are looking for an Assistant Schools Coordinator who will

    Assist the coordination of our school programs, communicating with partners to schedule classes, ensuring classes are full and staffed appropriately

    Actively promote our programs including cold-calling, relationship building and marketing

    Coach classes the Soccer Shots way, mentor and develop coaches

    Work well in a team environment, collaborating for a win-win solution to problem solving

    Effectively collaborate with Leadership and Core Team, translating plans into action

    Provide Customer Service support via email and phone, in coordination with the Program Team

    Be a self-starter, able to work independently without supervision and strive for efficiency with strong time management

    Drive company car regularly to partner locations to make sales calls and build relationships with partner directors

    Requirements: Applicant must be able to complete an extensive background check with clearance to work in a childcare setting. Must also have a valid and clean drivers license and reliable vehicle as well as being eligible for company car insurance with no history of accidents or reckless driving.

    Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Google’s document structure and spreadsheets. They must record critical data in company spreadsheets and systems. Must be detail oriented and comfortable with a laptop and learning new systems.

    Language Ability: Strong communicator required with the ability to write and track reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Speaking Spanish is a plus!

    Compensation: $20-$22 per hour depending on experience. Incentive/bonus structure based on seasonal sales quota

    Schedule: This is a full time position (30+ hours/wk) working Monday through Friday with a mixture of on-field, in-office and at partner locations.
