We’re looking for a server assistant who is enthusiastic and excels in a fast-paced environment. As a server assistant, you’ll be bringing customers to their seats, helping serve food, refilling water glasses and other beverages, and restocking food items in the kitchen and servers’ stations. You’ll clear and clean tables, and reset them with tableware and napkins for the next guests. You’ll also field customer inquiries and menu questions and let servers know when they are needed. You should know about food safety rules, and having previous food experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities: • Responsible for delivering food to the table on time, making sure to ask if customers need anything more before leaving • Clean and clear tables of debris and bring dirty dishes to the kitchen to be washed. Prepare tables for the next guests • Responsible for ensuring kitchen and server stations are kept fully stocked with condiments and all necessary items • Fill water glasses, bring beverages, or refill customers’ glasses, and remember to refill condiments and bring them to the table • Show customers to their tables, address any requests from customers, and respond to them in a timely manner Qualifications: • Must have a high school diploma or possess an equivalent GED • Previous food service industry or QSR experience is preferred but not mandatory • Prepared to work nights, weekends, some holidays and help out team members with shifts when needed • Can stand on feet for extended periods of time, bend and lift for the shift’s duration as needed • Know the basics of how to handle food items and kitchen equipment Compensation: $12 hourly
