    Job Summary

    We are seeking an Assistant Service Coordinator to join our team at The Fireplace Showcase. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure.

    This position is right for you if you are organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and are a good communicator able to help people in a high volume environment. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and are able to effectively manage a variety of tasks and situations on a day-to-day basis.

    Responsibilities

    Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails,

    Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect and record relevant information, and schedule technicians for service appointments,

    Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers,

    Document all customer interactions,

    Handle financial transactions; track, organize and manage accounts creating work orders and billing as appropriate,

    Order and stock parts, as needed.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED

    Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred

    Comfortable using computers and customer management software

    Excellent phone and verbal communication skills

    Ability to work well under pressure

    Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively

    Job Type

    Full time, 40 hours. Salary commensurate with ability, knowledge and experience
