    We are looking for a full-time Assistant Store Manager at our Homewood store location.

    Job Description:

    1. The Assistant Store Manager works directly with the Store Manager to ensure: staff are properly trained and developed in order to create a warm and welcoming environment focused on customer service, the sales floor is optimally staffed, tasks are completed at the appropriate time, floor set and recovery meets company expectations.

    2. The Assistant Store Manager oversees the inventory operations at the store level with the focus on receiving new products, outbound shipping, and maintaining inventory accuracy. In addition, the Assistant Store Manager will oversee the flow of inventory between locations such as store-to-store and warehouse transfers, product returns to vendors, and special orders, etc...

    3. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for the preparation and communication of all necessary needs, ensuring these tasks are fulfilled and executed within the specified time frame.

    Time will be spent leading the team on the floor and overseeing operational procedures. The allocation of time will depend on the fluctuations of the season.

    Expectations and Objectives:

    1. Work with the Store Manager to ensure staff are properly trained, the sales floor is optimally covered, tasks are done at proper times, floor set and recovery meets the company’s expectations.

    2. Work with the Store Manager to intentionally develop the Team to be “Welcoming and Helpful” through training and feedback.

    3. Oversee the receiving and staging of all new inventory accurately and timely; tag when needed.

    4. Ensure all special orders, transfers, and RTV’s are completed accurately and timely.

    5. Ensure Charge Sends, E-comm, Store Ship-To-Customer orders are completed accurately and timely.

    6. Perform scheduled and on-demand cycle counts accurately and timely.

    7. Coordinate all inventory-based needs with the Store Manager. For example, communicate staffing needs to ensure new products are steamed, folded, and/or merchandised.

    8. Oversee daily replenishment of inventory from back stock to the sales floor.

    9. Ensure all returned products are tagged, steamed, and/or folded to be placed immediately back onto the store floor or sent to the appropriate location.

    10. Maintain and organize all inventory/backstock storage areas.

    11. Communicate all inventory discrepancies to Store Support Manager, Store Manager, Buyers, Vendors, and/or Accounts Payable Personnel.

    12. Oversee and communicate location supply needs.
