    In this role, you will help drive store performance, build strong relationships in your community, and ensure every neighbor receives knowledgeable, trustworthy, pet-centric service — all while smiling in the face of puppy breath.

    What You’ll Do

    Lead by example by delivering exceptional, neighborly service to every customer and their pets

    Support daily store operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively

    Partner with the Store Team Leader to analyze sales and implement strategies to improve performance and engagement

    Create a fun, positive environment for both team members and neighbors

    Assist in maintaining store standards including cleanliness, animal care, safety, and security

    Support hiring, onboarding, and staffing to maintain a strong team

    Coach and develop team members through ongoing feedback and support

    Promote team engagement by recognizing performance and supporting career growth

    Build relationships within the community, including partnerships with local organizations and events

    Requirements and Responsibilities

    2+ years of experience leading a retail team

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required (high school diploma or GED required)

    Strong communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    Ability to operate store equipment, including forklifts

    Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 65 pounds

    Ability to work flexible schedules and maintain reliable transportation

    Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a drug test
