Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to support onsite field operations for multifamily construction projects in the Houston area. This role assists the Superintendent in maintaining schedule, quality, and safety while gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Support the Superintendent with day-to-day onsite activities for multifamily construction projects
Monitor work in progress to ensure it aligns with plans, specifications, and quality expectations
Assist with enforcing safety standards and maintaining a clean, compliant jobsite
Help coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and field logistics
Receive, track, and organize construction materials
Document daily activities and assist with reporting and communication
Perform additional tasks to support project progress as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Construction internship or relevant project experience required
Multifamily construction experience is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to work onsite, follow direction, and contribute to a fast-paced field environment
