    We are seeking a hands-on, dependable, and team-oriented Assistant Supervisor. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

    The ideal candidate will work closely with management and department leaders to oversee front desk operations, housekeeping coordination, staff accountability, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This person must be comfortable leading by example, resolving issues calmly, and creating a positive culture among a diverse team.

    Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred.

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Leadership & Staff Management

    Supervise and support front desk and housekeeping teams

    Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and shift coverage

    Coach employees on customer service standards and professionalism

    Hold team members accountable for attendance, performance, and hotel policies

    Foster a respectful, positive, and team-driven work environment

    Act as a liaison between management and staff

    Guest Experience & Service Excellence

    Ensure guests receive exceptional service from check-in to check-out

    Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently

    Monitor online reviews and identify opportunities for improvement

    Maintain high hospitality standards

    Operations & Property Oversight

    Conduct daily property walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards

    Coordinate closely with the Head Housekeeper regarding room readiness and quality control

    Monitor room inventory, maintenance issues, and operational needs

    Support implementation of upgraded service standards and procedures

    Assist ownership with operational improvements and staff development initiatives

    Front Desk Oversight

    Train and supervise front desk associates

    Ensure accurate reservations, billing, cash handling, and reporting procedures

    Support revenue goals through strong guest service and occupancy management

    Maintain professionalism during busy periods and high-pressure situations

    Qualifications

    Previous hotel supervisory or hospitality management experience preferred

    Experience with hotel front desk operations and housekeeping coordination preferred

    Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

    Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

    Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

    Comfortable working flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed

    Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

    Experience with hotel management software/PMS systems preferred

    Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and role scope.
