Location: Mystic, CT | Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Pay rate: $16.50 per hour Hours: M-F 5pm-7pm (possible more due to swim meets)

The Ocean Community YMCA is seeking a motivated and energetic Assistant Swim Team Coach to support our competitive swim program. You'll work alongside our Head Coach to lead practices, support at swim meets, and foster a safe, positive environment for young athletes.

What You’ll Do:

✔ Be on deck during practices and meets

✔ Assist with team training and development

✔ Support swimmer safety and development in alignment with YMCA values

✔ Follow child protection and abuse prevention protocols

What You’ll Bring:

✔ Competitive swim team experience

✔ Lifeguard, CPR, AED, First Aid, and YMCA swim certifications (or willingness to obtain)

✔ Passion for youth mentoring and team leadership
