Hope for Kids Childcare Center is hiring for 3 fulltime assistant teachers for our toddler and preschool classrooms. Assistant teachers work with a lead teacher to provide a welcoming and safe learning environment for children ages 16 mons-5 yrs old. Duties include but are not limited to supervising groups of children by engaging them in play, keeping the environment clean and free of debris and safety hazards, caring for the basic life needs of small children (diapering, feeding, dressing), housekeeping duties (cleaning after meals, dishes, laundry) and stepping in when the teacher is unavailable. Education requirement includes a high school diploma; post-secondary child development training is preferred. Experience working with children in a center environment is also preferred. Compensation is determined by post-secondary education credits and experience.
