Europa Village is looking to fill the position of a full-time Assistant Tasting Room Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality. Must posses strong leadership and coaching skills as well as excellent customer service skills.

Assistant Tasting Room Manager Reports To:

Tasting Room Manager

Director of Wine Operations (as needed)

Responsibilities Specific to Assistant Tasting Room Manager:

Possesses and lives Europa Village core values

Assists the Tasting Room Manager in overseeing the Tasting Room operations

Responsible for training and mentoring new employees

Assists in overseeing day-to-day hospitality operations while maintaining the core values, standards and ambiance of the winery

Leads and motivates sales and supports the team to achieve revenue goals; updates team on new promotions and assists sales team as needed

Assists with achieving or exceeding financial goals, including wine sales, retail sales and Wine Club sign-ups.

Assists with controlling operational costs and helps identify measures to cut waste

Delivers unsurpassed guest service to maximize guest satisfaction

Manages cash handling, including drawer reconciliations and bank deposits

Completes daily credit card tip calculations and enters them into tip spreadsheet

Comfortable working on feet for the majority of the work shift

Comfortable transitioning between working indoor and outdoor throughout the work shift

Other duties as assigned

Able to communicate Europa Village's story

Able to treat all Villagers and guests in a respectful manner

Arrives to work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards, clean and pressed shirt and slacks, and appropriate shoes

Adheres to Europa Village's policies and procedures

Is hospitable, welcoming and exhibits a positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed

Keeps an eye out for attention to detail

Must be able to work weekends, holidays and some evenings
