About the Role:

Join our vibrant team at Kids 'R' Kids Keller as an Assistant Teacher/Floater, where you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young minds. This exciting opportunity allows you to work with various age groups and possibly participate in our engaging summer camp programs. If you have a passion for early childhood education and love to inspire children, we want to hear from you!

Looking for hours: 8-5, 10-6 and 10:30-6:30

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities for children of various ages.

Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring a safe and fun environment.

Help maintain a clean and organized classroom, promoting a positive learning atmosphere.

Support individualized learning experiences and foster social-emotional development.

Participate in summer camp activities and special events, enhancing children’s summer experience.

Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and daily activities.

Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children and families.

Ability to work flexible hours, including summer camp schedules.

Passion for early childhood education and a nurturing demeanor.

Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Background check clearance and references required.

Team player who is adaptable and eager to learn.
