About the Role:

Jersey ChildCare LLC is looking for a passionate and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our team in Brick, NJ! Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans

Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing classroom environment

Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development throughout the day

Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress

Follow all childcare center policies, safety protocols, and state licensing regulations

Assist with snack time, nap time, and daily routines

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred

Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting

Knowledge of or willingness to learn NJ childcare licensing requirements

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for children

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Must pass required background checks and health screenings
