About the Role:

Lollipop Land in Rigby, ID is looking for a passionate and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:

Support the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities

Supervise and engage children in a safe, structured classroom environment

Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development in young learners

Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, and transitions

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child progress

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space

Observe and document children's behavior and developmental milestones

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework preferred

Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or classroom setting

Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for children

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to pass a background check

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Reliable, punctual, and professional
