As an Assistant Teacher at the Primrose School of Lone Tree you’ll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop children’s confidence and independence. Our teachers help guide infants through toddler age children through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.
ALL Applications will be considered with virtual interviews scheduled for teachers experienced in working in early childhood education, preschool, child care or daycare centers. Our leadership team looks forward to speaking with you!
Benefits:
Hourly compensation is based on credentials
Assistant Teacher $19.00 to $20.00, depending on experience and education
Lead Teacher $21.00 to $23.00, depending on experience and education
$500 Signing Bonus after 90 days*
Set Schedule Monday- Friday
8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm
Closed Weekends, Nights and Holidays
Paid Time Off (PTO) 80 hours annually
Paid Sick Leave up to 48 hours annually
Paid holidays and paid week off for Winter Break (week of Christmas)

Qualifications:
Assistant Teachers- PDIS 1 is required
Lead Teachers- PDIS 2, CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's degree required
Previous experience as a teacher in licensed early childhood education, PreK, preschool, childcare, day care center, or education
Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of childcare programs and child safety

Responsibilities:
Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum
Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Lone Tree, and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
