About the Role:

Join our vibrant team at Primrose School of Naperville Crossings as an Assistant Teacher in the Two-Year-Old Classroom! This exciting role offers the opportunity to nurture young minds in a supportive and engaging environment, fostering a love for learning from an early age.

This is a part-time position with the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. (More hours available if desired.)

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.

Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

Engage children in play-based learning and hands-on activities.

Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and classroom activities.

Observe and document children's developmental milestones.

Collaborate with the teaching team to create a nurturing atmosphere.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for early childhood education and child development.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Background check clearance required.

Positive, nurturing demeanor with a commitment to children's growth.
