    The Goddard School® located in Collegeville, PA is seeking a motivated, energetic, and caring Teacher Aid to assist in two-three of our older infant and toddler classrooms. You will serve as a third person in a classroom to assist the teachers with activities, play and personal care (preparing snacks, cleaning up after meals, changing diapers, engaging with the children in purposeful play, etc.) This job is unique in you will be able to interact with multiple classrooms and witness the progression and development of children at different stages!     Teacher Aid Key Responsibilities:

    Assist the classrooms in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans

    Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development

    Help gather and prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness

    Supervise and provide individualized support to children

    Update children's personal care information on an electronic device for Daily Reports

    Adhere to health and safety guidelines; ensure children are properly supervised

    Support routine child care tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment (this includes helping to prepare snacks, maintaining a clean classroom, ensuring children are clean, etc.)

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma required;

    Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting

    Shows empathy and compassion for young children

    Works productively without supervision

    Basic understanding of child development

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
