Preschool in Merrick seeks experienced, warm and loving Assistant Teachers in a Toddler Classroom. The Assistant Teacher works alongside the Lead Teacher, helping create lesson plans, while encouraging the children to explore their surroundings in a safe and structured environment.

Details:

Hours: 8:45am - 1:00 / 1:30 / 3 pm

For after care hours a few times a week: 3 pm-5 pm (Optional)

Responsibilities: Support lead teacher with initiative and enthusiasm, providing a warm presence in the classroom and support teacher in caring for the children.

Requirements:

Classroom experience working with young children ages 18 months and up.

Strong communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively
