This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for key strategic initiatives and relationships as determined by the VP of Pharmacy and senior leadership.
• Work closely with the pharmacy GPO leadership team, membership, and external partners to identify and create shared value.
• Analyze and interpret financial data, make recommendations, and execute strategies for pharmaceutical savings opportunities and contract management.
• Lead and support strategic partnerships involving specialty GPO services, service/technology collaborations, strategic consulting engagements, and supplier relationships.
• Mentor and develop pharmacy team members to promote professional growth and operational excellence

Requirements

• PharmD or RPh required; residency, fellowship training, or board certification preferred
• Minimum of ten years of progressive acute care pharmacy leadership experience
• At least eight years of experience in pharmacy supply expense management, consulting, or GPO operations
• Strong preference for experience in non-acute or specialty pharmacy
• Active pharmacy license in good standing
