Old Redford Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Volleyball Coach to join our athletic department.

Position Overview
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for volleyball, a commitment to athlete development, and the ability to support the head coach in leading a competitive volleyball program.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practice sessions and games.
- Help develop and implement strategies and game plans.
- Provide individualized coaching and mentorship to student-athletes to enhance skills and performance.
- Assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
- Ensure adherence to safety and sportsmanship standards during all practices and competitions.
- Monitor the academic performance of student-athletes and support their educational development.
- Coordinate logistics, including travel, equipment, and scheduling, in conjunction with the head coach and athletic department.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience coaching volleyball at the high school, club, or college level.
- Strong knowledge of the rules, strategies, and techniques of volleyball.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and educational athletic environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
