    We’re looking for a hands-on Fulfillment Assistant Manager to drive daily fulfillment execution, help maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time in a lean, fast-paced environment. This role leads a small core team for most of the year and steps into a larger leadership role during peak season (Nov–Dec). Working closely with the E-commerce Fulfillment Senior Manager, you’ll execute operational priorities, improve processes, and ensure a high level of accuracy and efficiency across all fulfillment activities. This is a “player-coach” role—ideal for someone who leads from the floor, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. Responsibilities: Lead daily fulfillment operations (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, returns) and work alongside the team to ensure accurate, on-time order processing Troubleshoot issues in real time to maintain efficient workflow and throughput Maintain inventory accuracy through receiving, cycle counts, and physical inventories; monitor stock levels, support forecasting, and resolve discrepancies Lead, coach, and hold accountable a core team of 3–6 associates; set expectations, provide feedback, and foster a positive, results-driven culture Partner closely with the E-commerce Fulfillment Senior Manager to execute priorities, improve workflows, and implement new processes and systems Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of seasonal staff; scale operations and provide leadership during peak season (Nov–Dec) Track performance metrics (order accuracy, on-time shipping, productivity); drive continuous improvement in efficiency, organization, and workflow Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse; ensure adherence to safety standards Adapt to changing business needs and take ownership of additional operational priorities as required Qualifications: • Requirements 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution operations in a fast-paced environment At least 1–2 years in an Assistant Manager (or equivalent) role with direct ownership of daily operations and team performance Proven ability to lead and hold accountability for team performance (typically 3–10+ employees) in a hands-on, floor-based environment Strong working knowledge of core warehouse functions: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and returns Demonstrated experience maintaining inventory accuracy, including cycle counting, discrepancy resolution, and organization of physical inventory Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Excel (or similar tools) for tracking, reporting, and operational decision-making Background in e-commerce or high-volume order fulfillment environments Experience hiring, onboarding, and training employees, including seasonal staff Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve workflow (Lean or similar approaches) Ability to operate with a high level of ownership—solving problems, making decisions, and driving results without constant oversight • Education Comfortable working in a lean, hands-on environment and scaling operations during peak season (Nov–Dec) Associate’s degree in supply chain, operations, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience, preferred. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000
