Assistant Wobbler Teacher Primrose School of South Meridian Location: 3060 S. Eagle Rd. Meridian, ID

Primrose School of South Meridian is looking for a caring and dependable Assistant Wobbler Teacher to join our early childhood team. Our Wobbler classroom serves children around 1 year of age who are not yet fully walking and acts as a bridge between our Infant and Toddler programs. This classroom follows a toddler-style daily schedule while providing extra support and nurturing during this important developmental stage.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working closely with young toddlers and supporting early milestones in a structured, loving environment.

Schedule • Monday–Friday • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Compensation • $14–$16 per hour, based on experience

What You’ll Do • Support the Lead Teacher in a Wobbler classroom (approximately 12–18 months) with a ratio of 1:5 • Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, naps, and play • Encourage early mobility, language development, and social-emotional growth • Help maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment • Provide warm, responsive care to children during transitions and activities • Communicate positively with lead teachers and families • Follow all state licensing, health, and safety regulations

What We’re Looking For • Meets Idaho childcare licensing requirements • Experience with infants or young toddlers preferred, but not required • Patient, nurturing, and dependable • Team-oriented and open to learning • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
