About the Role:

Join The Goddard School of Fishers, IN as an Assistant Teacher, where you will play a vital role in nurturing young minds in a fun and engaging environment. We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to inspire creativity and foster a love for learning in our students.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.

Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress.

Supervise children during playtime and ensure their safety at all times.

Help with classroom organization and cleanliness.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Encourage positive interactions among children and promote teamwork.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Passion for early childhood education and child development.

Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

Background check clearance required.
