Job Title: Assistant Teacher – 3-Year-Old Classroom
Position Type: Full-Time
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Teacher to join our 3-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for a professional early childhood educator who views themselves as a teacher and takes pride in creating a nurturing, engaging, and structured learning environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with and contributing to age-appropriate lesson planning and classroom activities
Supporting children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
Assisting with potty training and other daily care routines
Serving meals and snacks in accordance with licensing and safety guidelines
Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment
Working collaboratively with the lead teacher and administrative team
Communicating professionally and effectively with parents and families
Ensuring the safety, supervision, and well-being of all children at all times
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in an early childhood classroom (required)
CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred)
CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability
