QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed to practice in Louisiana
LTC experience preferred
Good communication & leadership skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage stress
Computer skills appropriate to job requirements and EHR.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicle
Assisted Living LPN is in charge of designated nursing functions during his/her shift. Evaluates, plans, and implements adequate resident care and prevention of illnesses. Provides direct care, to the residents, and delegates and supervises the care provided by C N A’s/AMIs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises C N A’s /AMIs
Functions as charge nurse during shift
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Appropriate physical and mental health to adequately perform assigned duties
Ability to pull, push up to 90 pounds, lift up to 50 pounds
Emotional stability and maturity
Visual and hearing acuity to adequately perform assigned duties
Turning, stooping, bending, and lifting of residents; movement of small equipment and appliances. Significant sitting, standing & walking for extended periods
Finger and hand dexterity to operate small equipment and perform skilled tasks
