A successful Caregiver will ensure:
Level of services being provided is excellent according to client, family and Assisting Hands Staff
Policies and procedures are being followed by the caregiver
Schedule is adhered to and caregiver is on time.
Follow client’s individual plan of care
Caregiver appearance is appropriate
The client is well groomed and personal care is provided appropriately
There are no safety concerns
Proper lifting is used to ensure caregiver and client safety
Caregiver is communicating with family, client and Assisting Hands Staff frequently and appropriately
Requirements:
Must be able to drive and have a reliable vehicle
Minimum 1-year experience in HOME CARE or NURSING HOME
High school diploma / GED is required
Must be willing to obtain CPR certification and pass TB test
Complete Assisting Hands provided training
Complete background check
Hours: Varied. Part Time, Full Time, Days, Nights, Weekends and Holidays Position is hourly rate.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
