We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants who are available for immediate work across the entire Frederick County, Maryland area. We also provide care for clients in Carroll and Washington Counties. Experience with Transfers and Hoyer lifts preferable.

The Shifts: We have long-term, short-term, short shifts and quick shifts, Mornings, Evenings, Nights and Weekends.

What to expect when you join our team:

Help with ambulation and mobility around the house and outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)

Assist with personal care and hygiene

Help with completion of physical therapy and other recommended exercise

Complete shopping or accompany client when they shop, if needed

Perform light housekeeping duties clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals

Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members

Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors, and family members

Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas, including changing bed sheets

To become an Assisting Hands ideal candidates, you will need to have a:

Current Maryland CNA license

Valid Maryland Drivers License

REQUIRED, proof of insurance

Proof of authorization to work in the US

CPR and First Aid Certification*

Proof of a Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening or Chest X-ray

Experience: 1 Year work experience preferred

Social Security Number: All our Caregivers are Employees

Reliable - Personal Transportation

Positive attitude, great communication skills, and able to work independently

Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, including those outlined by the CDC in relation to COVID-19

Respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

Physical endurance to complete required tasks

Hours: Dependent on assignment; All shifts available

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
