Description: This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator in compliance with the Plan of Care.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required

Qualifications: One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.

Reports to: Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities can include helping clients with:

Personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing and groomingCooking and nutritional guidanceTransportation servicesLight housekeeping services and laundryMedication remindersExercise and physical assistanceConversation. companionship and mental stimulation

*CHHA License - RequiredMust be able to converse with ease on a wide variety of topics with clientNo history of criminal backgroundPassionate about providing care for eldersMust be compassionate, honest, reliable, confident and highly sociableMust feel confident in your ability to engage the Client in activities and conversationProof eligibility to work in US3 professional references including telephone numbersValid driver's license is preferred

Hours: Dependent on assignment; Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
