Assisting Hands Home Care, a growing home care agency, is seeking compassionate and responsible CNAs/HHA caregivers who want to make a difference in the lives of local U.S. military veterans.

Primary Duties:

Provide personal care assistance and support to clients in their homes

Help clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

Assist with medication reminders and ensure clients take their medications as prescribed

Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding as necessary

Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and vacuuming, to ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients

Provide companionship and socialization to clients, including engaging in activities they enjoy

Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the care manager

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and any changes in client's condition

We are looking for caregivers who are passionate about working with military veterans and helping them maintain their independence and dignity at home.

Desired qualifications:

Active CNA/HHA certification in Florida

Experience with caring for elderly, disabled, or military veterans

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Good communication skills and a positive attitude
