About YOU -Caregiving experience is not required, but is helpful (private in-home care, assisted living, group homes, etc.). -Your work history should demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic. -A great caregiver is patient, attentive, resourceful and displays attention to detail. -CNA or other certifications are helpful but not required.

Job Duties:  Be a genuine and supportive companion  Personal care  Remind clients to take prescribed medication  Assist clients with walking, mobility and physical therapy exercises  Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments, store etc.  Plan and prepare meals  Alzheimer/Dementia care assistance  Perform light housekeeping

Qualifications:  Compassionate  Enjoy caring for others  Team Player  Reliable and strong work history  Minimum of one-year professional experience working with seniors. Examples: In-home care, Independent/Assisted living/Memory care community, Hospital and Rehab  Ability to pass a background check  Current TB or Chest X-ray; Current CPR Certification (both due upon hire)  Reliable transportation

Hours: Dependent on assignment; Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
