    Description: Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated certified caregivers (CNAs & HHAs) to join our team as care professionals serving clients around South Jacksonville and Clay County.

    Education:

    High School Diploma/GED required;

    Current Nursing Assistant Certification with the Board of Nursing in good standing - or-

    HHA certificate from an accredited facility

    Requirements:

    Must be able to pass a criminal background check

    Active Florida Level II Background

    CPR Certified

    Florida CNA license or HHA certificate from an accredited facility

    HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's, and Assisting With Self-Administration of Medication Training Certificates

    Recent TB Screening

    Active CNA license in the state of Florida

    Minimum 1-year experience as a caregiver in a facility or with an agency

    Desired Qualifications:

    Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

    Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing

    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently

    Primary Duties:

    Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting

    Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning clients

    Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed

    Perform light housekeeping duties, as needed

    Escort clients to appointments and errands, as needed

    Document care provided and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the nurse supervisor

    FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
