The Lewis Financial Group is a trusted name in insurance, offering personalized service and reliable coverage to individuals and families across the region. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Associate Agent to join our team.
Position Overview: The Associate Agent will provide direct support to current and potential clients, liaison between customers and companies, commercial and personal lines sales and retention, and internal communication. This role requires a friendly attitude, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to grow in the insurance field.
Responsibilities:
Client reviews and cross sales
Customer Service support
Must be able to meet sales goals
Maintain and update client records in the system
Support licensed agents with day-to-day operations
Learn and adhere to compliance procedures and insurance guidelines
Work with MS Office programs for communication, reports, and client documents
Requirements:
Must have current Property and Casualty Insurance License
Willing to obtain Life Insurance license within 60 days
Basic computer skills (email, MS Word/Excel)
Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Prior experience in marketing, sales or insurance
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Holding a current insurance license
