Due to growth, we are looking to add an Associate Attorney to our legal team.

Associate Attorney Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil court proceedings related to consumer debt collection lawsuits.
• Review and assess legal claims brought by creditors, debt buyers, and collection agencies.
• Develop case strategies and defenses based on applicable federal and state consumer protection laws (e.g., FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA).
• Draft legal documents including answers, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and settlement conferences.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and creditors.
• Advise clients on legal rights, options, and potential outcomes related to debt-related matters.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and client defense.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members.

Associate Attorney Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing.
