Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated, aggressive, and dedicated Associate Attorney with 0 to 3 years of experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills, and be eager to gain hands-on experience across multiple practice areas. This role provides an opportunity to work collaboratively and develop strong litigation and negotiation skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling a diverse caseload in family, criminal, and civil law matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain effective communication with clients.
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and administrative hearings.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
• Review and analyze case files to provide detailed recommendations and solutions.
• Stay informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island, or pending bar admission, admission in MA a plus.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
