    We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Family Law and Litigation Attorney to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for an attorney with 1–4 years of experience who is passionate about family law and contested estate administrations and committed to providing excellent legal representation and compassionate client service in often sensitive and complex domestic matters. The Associate will manage a caseload from inception to resolution under the guidance of a senior partner. Responsibilities: • Case Management: Manage all phases of family law and estate administration cases, including divorce, legal separation, child custody and visitation, and contested estate administration. • Pleadings and Motions: Draft, review, and file various legal documents, including petitions, complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, trial briefs, and settlement agreements. • Court Appearances: Represent clients effectively in court at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials. • Discovery: Conduct and manage the discovery process, including preparing financial disclosures, taking and defending depositions, and analyzing financial records. • Client Communication: Maintain regular, clear, and empathetic communication with clients, providing legal advice, explaining case strategy, and managing expectations. • Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate settlements and resolutions outside of court to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. Qualifications: Experience: 1–4 years of demonstrated experience practicing family law is required. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Licensure: Must be an active member in good standing of the Nebraska State Bar. Skills:Litigation Skills: Proven ability to handle court appearances and manage contested litigation. • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial disclosures, asset tracing, and business valuation principles relevant to marital dissolution and estate administration. • Empathy & Professionalism: Exceptional ability to handle high-conflict situations with professionalism, compassion, and sound judgment. Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000
