Connect Staffing has an immediate in-house opportunity for a Labor & Employment attorney with 7-10 years of experience to serve as Associate Counsel /VP of Human Resources at an Atlanta-based manufacturer. The company, a 4th-generation family-owned business with 3200 employees and 28 production facilities in 9 states, needs a replacement for the current VP, who will be retiring soon. This role is a direct report to the General Counsel.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school and 7+ years broad L&E advisory and litigation practice experience (preferably large law firm), including with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, as well as EEOC charges and investigations, wage & hour issues, and whistleblower and other internal investigations. This role includes managing a team of 7 direct reports, plus indirect reporting of plan HR personnel

This position is full-time in-office, at an easily accessible southwest Atlanta location. Some travel may be required from time to time. Salary low $200K plus a minimum 15% bonus, excellent benefits including subsidized monthly health insurance premiums, 401(k) plan, free parking.
