Responsibilities: • Handle criminal defense matters under supervision, including arraignments, pretrial hearings, motions, and trials. • Draft legal documents, including motions, discovery requests, and client communications. • Conduct legal research. • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies, leveraging collective expertise for optimal outcomes. • Maintain open and clear communication with clients, keeping them informed and involved every step of the way. • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties, striving for resolutions that align with clients' goals. • Participate in client consultations, offering guidance and building trust through transparent and empathetic interactions. • Gradually assume primary responsibility for managing your own caseload. • Contribute to the firm’s reputation for high-quality, client-focused legal services. Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 yearly
